Perinatal medicine in Ugra is reaching a new level — this became possible thanks to the opening of a new modern building of the Surgut District Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Health.
The Hospitaltechnik company created “clean” rooms in the Center, and the operating rooms became “smart” thanks to the Medical Visual Systems company.
Since December 15, patients have been admitted to a new address: consulting and diagnostic department, catamnesis department, ultrasound diagnostics department, clinical diagnostic laboratory. On December 25, the first birth was delivered at the Maternity and Childhood Care Center, and on December 28, the first gynecological operation was successfully performed here.
“This is a great joy and a long-awaited event for all families, residents of the district and for us, medical workers!” – this is how the chief physician Larisa Dmitrievna Belotserkovtseva reacted to the event.
The new Center is designed for 10,000 births per year and will be able to simultaneously receive more than 300 pregnant women, women in labor. In total, the area of the perinatal center is more than 78 thousand square meters.
The uniqueness of the center lies in the use of genetic technologies that help predict the development of diseases, and most importantly, to carry out timely correction. Thus, the Department of Reproductive Technologies will develop preimplantation diagnostics aimed at the prevention of congenital diseases.
The Hospitaltechnik company has created “clean” rooms with an area of 3,800 sq.m. in the Perinatal Center. The perinatal center in Surgut has become the largest project of the company in terms of area, and not a typical one.
The project is equipped with 15 sets of integrated MVS Operating Rooms. MVS solutions will allow doctors in Surgut to record video operations directly from the operating room, manage engineering systems and even establish video conferencing with colleagues at medical conferences and students of medical universities.
With the help of the specialized Hospital Platform program, doctors will be able to plan the loading of operating rooms, create and maintain a single centralized video archive of the Center.
