From December 4-8, MVS took part for the fourth time in the large-scale international scientific and practical forum "Russian Health Care Week 2023", which was held at Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow. The Forum is one of the main events of federal importance in the field of healthcare in Russia.
The MVS exhibition space was traditionally located in Pavilion No. 2 on the left at the entrance to Hall 3. In 2023, the company’s stand was created in a new concept in the style of futurism, which attracted the attention of visitors to the exhibition, leaving no one indifferent.

A smart operating room with the latest software version (also developed by MVS) and a demonstration of current system functions on real hospital workflows were reproduced at the stand.

The stand space was divided into several zones for the convenience of demonstrating the different functionality of the MVS Smart Operating Room. Monitors of various functional purposes were presented: a monitor for the management of engineering systems and medical equipment, monitors for displaying connected video sources, an operating nurse workstation monitor, an online electronic board with a schedule of operations and monitoring the loading of operating rooms, monitors for broadcasting operations and video communication with the operating room, various information boards.
During the forum, the premiere of a new film about MVS, the possibilities of solutions and the experience of their use in Russian hospitals took place.

The MVS Smart Operating Room is a platform for integrating medical equipment and digital services, a kind of ecosystem that opens the doors to the operating room for developers of solutions related to surgical activities. Within the framework of the Healthcare 2023 exhibition, several integrations were implemented at the MVS stand.
Integration with the holographic navigation system for Medgital surgery, which gave everyone the opportunity to feel like a surgeon of the future and try on AR glasses.
Integration with an Emaled surgical lamp with a built-in video camera, an OPT operating table. The interface of the software products is as convenient and simple as possible, each visitor of the exhibition was able to independently control this medical equipment from the MVS central control panel.

A rich business program at the MVS stand
On December 5, an agreement on integration with the OPT Vanto surgical table was signed at the MVS stand via online videoconference. Right during the exhibition at the MVS stand, using the MVS Platform software, the agreement was signed by the heads of MVS and Arcadis Medical Group (the official distributor of Italian operating tables in Russia) and the management of OPT in Italy.
Another important event of this day was the signing of an agreement between Medical Visual Systems Ltd. and Samara State Medical University (SamSMU) of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on the joint creation of innovative developments.
During the work of the international scientific and practical forum “Russian Health Care Week 2023”, several official delegations visited the MVS stand. Among them are representatives of state authorities, as well as representatives of the media, including Channel One, the newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva, the portals Made in Russia, Rambler/Doctor, the TV channel Doctor.
The MVS team held a huge number of meetings, discussions, and presentations, which were filled with the strongest energy and vivid emotions. According to the company’s employees, this gives a great impetus to the desire to move on, to create more and more modern and high-tech operating units, which are so in demand today both in our country and abroad.

This year, within the framework of the Russian Health Care Week 2023 forum, an unprecedented broad industry scientific, practical and business program was presented, which combined more than 90 important industry events with the participation of more than 1,000 Russian and foreign speakers. MVS took an active part in the business program of the forum.

In addition to MVS, representatives of other companies developing IT solutions for the medical sector, as well as representatives of medical universities and organizations, specialized associations and other experts took part in the discussion.
Digital transformation is attributed to the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030. According to the participants of the round table, today the digital clinic is an important component of the development of modern medicine, which helps to improve the quality of medical care, ensure patient safety and reduce economic costs. But there are a number of problems and challenges that need to be addressed immediately.
On December 6, within the framework of the scientific program of the forum on the topic “Smart Operating room: from standards and procedures to new paradigms in science and medical education”, Medical Visual Systems experts spoke: Igor Andreevich Kuzminov, MVS Development Manager, and Mikhail Yuryevich Kaputin, MD, Professor, innovation expert, medical adviser MVS.
Igor Andreevich spoke about the possibilities and prospects for the development of a modern operating room, including using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Mikhail Yuryevich Kaputin in his speech reviewed the implementation of solutions in surgery with AI, highlighted the problems of its use today and stressed the importance of coordination of actions on the part of surgeons and developers of AI-based solutions.

On December 7, the winners of the All-Russian Scientific School competition were awarded on the main stage of the interdisciplinary medical forum “THE YOUNG MEDICINE”.
The awarding of the winner in the nomination “Artificial Intelligence for solving socially significant diseases” was held with the support of MVS. He became Ilya Sergeevich Miltykh, a student of the Penza State University. His project “Intraorgan arterial bed of the spleen: morphofunctional analysis and neural network modeling” was highly appreciated by the medical community. As a result of this study, a neural network model has been developed to determine the values of the diameters and lengths of the segments that make up the arterial bifurcation.
