On June 3, 2021, a delegation from the Italian Republic visited the office of Medical Visual Systems. Representatives of Italian pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers of medical equipment arrived in St. Petersburg as part of SPIEF 2021. They got acquainted with the capabilities of the Smart Operating Room in the MVS showroom, saw innovative developments and discussed promising areas for further cooperation.
The delegation of the Italian Republic took part in the VI Russian Forum of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME Forum), held within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. A separate session of the SME Forum was devoted to the Italian experience in the development of medium and small businesses, which forms the basis of the Italian economy.A vivid illustration of the Russian path of development of companies in the field of innovation was the speech by Kirill Zaputryaev, Director of Development at MVS. The day after the SME forum, the Italian delegation almost in full visited the MVS office and showroom in St. Petersburg.
The Italian side took part in the meeting: President of the Association of industrialists “Confindustria” in Puglia, heads of companies Beforpharma, Ivis Technologies, Masmec Biomed Exprivia, Links Management & Technology, Farmalabor, Puglia Promozione.
Together with the delegation, Ekaterina Lebedeva, Vice President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Olga Granatovich, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Health Committee, paid a visit.
The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Italian guests visited the MVS showroom, where Olga Ishchenko, Head of Sales, demonstrated the capabilities of a Smart Operating Room. Vladimir Krivenko, Head of the Department for the Development and Implementation of technical solutions and innovations at MVS, told the participants of the Italian delegation about the features of creating innovative solutions for medical organizations, the importance of collaboration with doctors as end users.
In addition to the showroom, where the possibilities of ready-made and already used solutions are presented by hospitals, there is a demo zone and a real “testing ground” in the MVS office for testing the latest solutions just preparing to enter the market. There, the guests were shown the latest integration solution for intensive care wards and intensive care rooms. Grigory Bayburtyan, product owner, held a presentation of Medikt, a new cloud-based MVS platform for healthcare professionals.
In an official letter sent to MVS following the meeting, Giuseppe Pastore, Head of the Department for the Promotion of International Business in the Puglia region, and Joanna Elisa Berlingerio, Director of the Department of Economic Development, noted the importance of bilateral cooperation.
