The Moscow Urban Forum (MUF) is an international congress dedicated to the development of megacities and the challenges they face. The Forum has been held in Moscow since 2011 and brings together representatives of the city administrations of Russia and the world, architects, urban planners, developers, heads of financial companies, investors, technology startups, media representatives and citizens. MUF-2023 has become the largest in the entire history of its holding. The Urban Health Congress, held within the framework of the MUF for the third time, was devoted to the topic of healthcare for modern residents of the megapolis.
The panel discussion “Health in the megapolis: technologies take medicine to a new level” was devoted to practical achievements, technologies that have already proven themselves and are changing the healthcare sector for the better. The moderator of the panel discussion was Dmitry Mugenov, Director of the Department of Special Projects of the EMIAS of Moscow, GKU “Information and Analytical Center in the field of healthcare”. Anticipating Evgeny Borisov’s speech, he shared his impressions of MVS technologies.

In his report “Medicine of the Future: an ecosystem of healthy life”, Yevgeny Borisov stressed the importance of investing in Russian innovations. Evgeny Borisov also noted that Moscow is a testing ground for growing the most incredible ideas. If they get a response, they go to the masses. But when we talk about investments, it is important to be conservative and adhere to the principle of “do no harm.” It is necessary to experiment with innovations very carefully — it takes a long time and months to check the implementation. And for this, their customer must be qualified and ready to use new technologies. This criterion was one of the decisive ones in making the decision to invest in MVS.
