On December 22, the Medical Visual Systems showroom opened as part of the new zones of the Skolkovo Center for Innovation and the Internet of Things, demonstrating innovative solutions for oncosurgery.
On December 22, 2020, the Center for Innovation and the Internet of Things in Healthcare in Skolkovo was replenished with five new therapeutic zones: treatment of chronic heart failure, oncohematology, breast, ovarian and prostate cancer. In the last three, Medical Visual Systems presented its developments.
The presentation of the new zones of the Center was attended by Arkady Dvorkovich, Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation, Sergey Tsyb, Chairman of the Center’s Governing Council, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Sergey Pugachev, Deputy Minister of Health of Russia, and Veronika Skvortsova, Head of the FMBA of Russia. Kirill Kaem, Senior Vice President for Innovation at the Skolkovo Foundation, acted as moderator.
One of the most important goals of the Center is to unite the efforts of the medical community and local developers, to adapt the best world practices to solve urgent problems of Russian healthcare.
In each of the areas of the Center, ideal patient routes are presented, taking into account the latest research data, which will allow you to plan the correct sequence of all stages of treatment for each of the nosologies, starting from the appearance of the first signs of the disease and early diagnosis, choosing the right therapy strategy, to monitoring the course of the disease and follow-up.
4 of the 5 new zones in Skolkovo are dedicated to oncological nosologies and contribute to the implementation of the National Oncological Program-2030.
The MVS demo zone in Skolkovo presents a model of a Smart Operating Room, the functionality of which allows you to perform complex oncological operations at a new level, preserve and disseminate invaluable surgical experience for other doctors.
