On May 25, the Moscow Medical Technopark Medtech.Moscow hosted the grand opening of the Smart Operating Room showroom, created by MVS based on its own innovative developments.
The showroom as a place of origin of ideas
Since its foundation, MVS has attached strategic importance to the creation of showrooms – spaces where the latest developments of the company and medical equipment with which there is integration are demonstrated to everyone.
In just 5 years of operation, MVS showrooms have been visited by more than 3,000 doctors interested in their own professional development and modernization of their clinic.
Visiting the MVS showroom inspires and motivates doctors so much that it often becomes the starting point in a project to modernize or build a new hospital building.
The new location of the MVS showroom is Moscow Medical Technopark was created on the basis of the Moscow Center for Innovative Technologies in Healthcare (MCITH). Since its opening in February 2022, Medtech has organically entered the capital’s healthcare infrastructure, becoming a comfortable platform for Moscow doctors, research teams and developers to work together.
The new MVS showroom is located on the ground floor of the technopark and is executed in the Russian-made ENVE cleanroom module: wall panels made of glass with prints, floor, ceiling are made in light colors and together with installed monitors and MVS information boards form an ergonomic, technological space of a modern operating room.

We created the first showroom in 2019 in St. Petersburg, then showrooms appeared in Moscow (Skolkovo) and Minsk. This idea immediately resonated with doctors: The solutions are so innovative and technologically advanced that it is quite difficult to convey the values of use and explain the principle of their operation. From the very beginning, MVS showrooms completely reproduced the real operating room, and integration was performed with medical equipment used in Russia
What can you see in the MVS showroom?
The showroom demonstrates the operation of the MVS Vega software and hardware complex inside the operating room and the operating unit:
- video management – setting up the display of signals from various sources inside the operating room on screens embedded in wall panels and placed on surgical consoles,
- control of engineering systems and integrated medical equipment in a few touches using the touch control panel,
- planning and documentation of operations,
- creating and managing a video archive of operations,
- conducting video conferences and video streams from the operating room,
- MVS solutions for the corridors of the operating unit: online scoreboard with monitoring of operating room loading, monitors for video communication with operating rooms and the ability to monitor the progress of the operation without entering the operating room.
In the showroom, you can control real medical equipment integrated with the MVS Smart operating room: Emaled surgical lamps and cameras built into them, the Vanto operating table from the Italian brand OPT, ELEPS endoscopic equipment, Medgital holographic navigation system, SOLOASSIST II surgical assistant robot – and this is only a small part of the integrated equipment, the range of which it is constantly expanding.

The server room is also available for viewing – the heart of the Smart operating room, which allows you to get an impression of the technical side of the implemented solution.
A separate emphasis is placed on the workplace of the chief physician or the head of the department. The latest version of the MVS Platform software is installed here, which optimizes hospital workflows related to surgical activities, allows you to manage processes and participate in operations without entering the operating unit.
The MVS ICU solution is also presented in the MVS showroom at Moscow Medtech (video recording from surveillance cameras and bedside equipment in intensive care units and ICU continuously 24/7 with subsequent archiving, video communication of patients with relatives).
